Creatress

This portrait series features Yuliya V. Krylova—costume designer, painter, performer, educator, and, in her own words, a Creatress. Made out of admiration for her work, the series shows Yuliya wearing costumes of her own making. The photographs explore the connection between artist and artwork, where the maker becomes part of the world she creates. Through costume, performance, and presence, the series celebrates a creative life shaped by imagination, craft, and self-expression.
