Hold the Light

Written and directed by Mira Awad, the theatrical installation unfolded among the artworks, inviting audiences to move through the space as monologue, dance and dialogue emerged in direct response to the exhibition. Rather than illustrating the artworks, the performances entered into conversation with them — creating a living exchange between visual art, performers and audience. The gallery became a shifting theatrical landscape where questions of identity, memory, representation and artistic presence were explored through movement, text and interaction.
